How to upload your beat for peace video
Join the Sudan365 group on YouTube so you can add your beat for peace video and watch other videos from around the world! Uploading your video is easy: just follow these simple steps:
1) Create a free YouTube account here and sign in to your YouTube account with your username and password.
2) Click ‘Upload’ (top right, with a yellow background).
3) You’ll then be taken to a page called Video File Upload. Click ‘Upload Video’, select the file* from your computer, and your beat for peace video will start uploading.
*Make sure your video is under 10 minutes, no larger than 2GB, and saved as a .mov, .avi or .wmv file.
4) Choose a title for your video and add a description – tell us who is doing the drumming, where it’s happening, and so on.
5) Add a few ‘tags’ – labels to help people find your video more easily. Please include ‘Sudan365’ and ‘beat for peace’.
6) Click the ‘share with the world’ privacy option, then save the changes you’ve made.
7) When it’s uploaded, you’ll be taken to your video’s unique YouTube page. Copy the web address of this page (the url), and then go to the Sudan365 group page.
8) At the top right-hand side of this page, click ‘Submit a video’.
9) Paste the url (or web address) of your video into this pop-up box, and click ‘post’.
Your beat for peace video will then be added to the Sudan365 group page.
